Timeless Gems was a Facebook and mobile game developed using Actionscript 3 and the starling engine. The game was a match 3 game themed on public domain stories. The players avatar existed on a game board that ringed the match 3 area. Players would match dice to progress their character around the game board collecting coins and items to complete challenges within the level. Meta progression happened through book chapters with each chapters consisting of several levels with different win conditions, board mechanics and layouts.
I was a programmer and tester on Timeless Gems. My main responsibilities were optimization and bug fixing. I also handled setting up several of the board mechanics and handling for new types of board layouts and specialty gems
